Sharing experiences about the reduction of maternal and neonatal mortality

Solidarity with Guinea: Fighting Ebola

On the 2nd of June, the Sanofi Espoir Foundation organized a sharing experiences day, about one of its priority: the reduction of maternal and neonatal mortality in developing countries.

Ten of its partners working in that field have been discussing on different topics. On the morning, NGOs presented their projects funded by the Foundation, putting forwards the innovative component of their actions: health professional e-learning training, using of mobile phones in the follow up of pregnant women and the midwives mesh, tools for community awareness and education, evaluation system of health structures by the local population…

During the afternoon, participants shared views on best practices, as well as on the difficulties and obstacles they encounter.

It was a day where plenty of ideas were exchanged, and permit to put in touch some actors which are carrying similar projects in different countries.
