My Child Matters programme was initiated by the Sanofi Espoir Foundation in December 2005.

Thanks to the collaboration with engaged partners, 58 projects implemented in Africa, Asia & Latin America helped 85,000 children to be taken into care and more than 25,000 healthcare professionals have been trained to date.

My Child Matters benefits from international recognition for the impact of the programme, and is now actively contributing to the City Cancer Challenge (C/Can 2025) and the World Health Organization’s initiatives. 1

2018 marked the end of the previous 3-year grant, and a new call for projects was launched at the SIOP international congress at Kyoto.

Today, on the International Childhood Cancer Day, we would like to highlight the amazing work of every person involved worldwide to fight childhood cancer in developing countries, and more specifically our projects leaders, mentors, experts and all teams on the ground.

We are looking forward to welcome the new grant awardees in the My Child Matters family!
